Terms of service

By accessing or using AIM Previz ("the Service"), operated by AIM WORLD ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, and any additional terms incorporated by reference. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and AIM WORLD.

AIM Previz is an AI-powered cinematography and visual storytelling platform designed for directors, cinematographers, photographers, and creative professionals. The Service includes:

• +AI Frame Generation: Create multiple camera angles, lighting variations, and compositional alternatives from a single reference image
• +Video Animation: Transform static frames into motion video using AI
• +AI Upscaling: Enhance image resolution up to 12K Master and video resolution up to 8K
• +3D Virtual Studio: Interactive camera and lighting simulation environment
• +Art Style System: Apply 200+ artistic styles and create custom styles from references
• +Industry Packs: Specialized toolsets for fashion, product, architecture, and other verticals
• +Team Collaboration: Invite team members with role-based access (owner, editor, viewer)
• +Client Review: Share projects with clients for feedback and approval workflows
• +Shot Sequences: Organize frames into professional storyboard timelines
• +Export Options: Download individual frames, ZIP archives, and professional formats

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time with reasonable notice for material changes.

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• +Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• +Maintain and promptly update your account information
• +Keep your password confidential and secure (we recommend strong, unique passwords)
• +Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• +Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• +Be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)
• +Not share your account credentials with others
• +Not create multiple free accounts to circumvent usage limits

4.1 Your Content

You retain all rights to the images and content you upload to the Service ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. This license terminates when you delete your content or account. You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to all User Content you upload.

4.2 Generated Content

Subject to these Terms, your compliance with applicable laws, and the terms of your subscription plan, you own the rights to all images, videos, and media generated through the Service based on your User Content and prompts. We do not claim any ownership or rights to your generated content. You are solely responsible for:

• +Ensuring your use of generated content complies with all applicable laws
• +Disclosing AI-generated content when required by law or industry practice
• +Ensuring generated content does not infringe on third-party rights
• +Obtaining necessary releases for commercial use involving identifiable individuals

4.3 Our Content and Technology

The Service, including its original content, features, functionality, underlying technology, algorithms, AI models, user interface, design elements, and documentation, is owned by AIM WORLD and protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. "AIM Previz," "AIM WORLD," "Continuity Lock," "Character Lock," and related marks are trademarks of AIM WORLD. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service or included software.

5.1 Plan Tiers

We offer Free, Pro, Creator, Studio and Production plans (subject to change). Every plan includes the same features of the Service. Plans differ only in:

• +Monthly credits: the credit allowance each plan includes, as published on the pricing page at the time you subscribe
• +Queue priority: when generation capacity is limited, work on higher plans may be processed before work on lower plans. Priority is not a guarantee of any processing time
• +Support level: the support channel and response target published for each plan

Service levels, availability commitments, dedicated services and any other terms beyond these apply only where agreed in a separate written agreement.

5.2 Billing

• +Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
• +Annual subscriptions are billed as a single payment and offer discounted pricing
• +Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• +You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period
• +No prorated refunds for partial billing periods
• +We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' advance notice

5.3 Credit Packs (One-Time Purchases)

• +Credit Pack credits never expire and remain available until used
• +Credit Pack credits are consumed after monthly subscription allowance is depleted
• +Credit Pack purchases are non-refundable once completed
• +Credit Pack credits are non-transferable between accounts

5.4 Referral Program

• +Earn bonus credits when friends sign up using your referral code
• +Referred users also receive bonus credits upon signup
• +Referral rewards are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash
• +We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the referral program
• +Abuse of the referral system (self-referrals, fake accounts) will result in account termination

5.5 Promo Codes

• +Promo codes may be offered for discounts, trial extensions, or bonus credits
• +Codes are subject to terms specified at time of distribution
• +Codes cannot be combined unless explicitly stated
• +We reserve the right to cancel invalid or fraudulently obtained codes

Each subscription tier includes a monthly frame generation allowance. You agree to:

• +Use the Service within your plan's allocated limits
• +Not attempt to circumvent usage limits through multiple accounts, automation, or technical exploits
• +Not resell, redistribute, or sublicense generated content as an AI generation service
• +Not use the Service in a manner that degrades performance for other users
• +Not use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service
• +Not overwhelm our systems with excessive concurrent requests

We reserve the right to implement rate limiting and suspend accounts that violate fair use policies. Frame limits reset at the start of each billing cycle.

7.1 Team Members

You may invite team members to collaborate on projects. Role-based permissions (owner, editor, viewer) determine access levels. You are responsible for team member actions on shared projects.

7.2 Client Review Links

You may share project links with clients for review and feedback. Shared links provide limited access to designated frames and feedback features. You are responsible for managing share link expiration and access controls. Client feedback and annotations are stored in your project.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• +Generate illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or offensive content
• +Create content that infringes upon intellectual property rights of others
• +Create deepfakes, non-consensual intimate imagery, or deceptive media intended to mislead, defraud, or harm
• +Generate content depicting minors in any inappropriate, sexualized, or harmful context
• +Create content promoting violence, terrorism, extremism, or hate
• +Harass, abuse, defame, stalk, or intimidate others
• +Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international laws or regulations
• +Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or extract our AI models, algorithms, or source code
• +Circumvent any security measures, access controls, or usage restrictions
• +Use the Service for political manipulation, election interference, disinformation, or propaganda
• +Impersonate any person or entity without authorization or for fraudulent purposes
• +Transmit malware, viruses, or other malicious code
• +Use the Service to develop competing AI image or video generation products

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate images and videos. You acknowledge and agree that:

• +AI-generated outputs may vary and we do not guarantee specific results, quality levels, or accuracy
• +Generated content may occasionally produce unexpected, inaccurate, or unsuitable results
• +AI models have inherent limitations and biases that may affect outputs
• +You are solely responsible for reviewing all generated content before use
• +You will not rely on generated content for critical decisions without independent verification
• +Generated content should be disclosed as AI-generated when required by law, regulation, or industry practice
• +We implement content safety filters, but no filter is 100% effective

We are committed to protecting your data:

• +No Training on User Data: We do not use your uploaded images, generated content, or prompts to train AI models without explicit consent
• +Data Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256)
• +Access Control: Row-Level Security ensures only you and authorized collaborators can access your projects
• +Data Retention: Your content is stored securely and deleted upon account termination or at your request
• +Third-Party Processing: AI generation is processed by third-party providers subject to strict data processing agreements
• +Error Monitoring: We use Sentry to capture application errors (no personal content is logged)
• +Analytics: We use PostHog for product analytics (with your cookie consent)

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AIM WORLD AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, PARTNERS, AFFILIATES, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, DATA, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100 USD) OR THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES REGARDING THE QUALITY, ACCURACY, TIMELINESS, OR SUITABILITY OF ANY AI-GENERATED CONTENT. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AIM WORLD and its officers, directors, employees, agents, partners, affiliates, and licensors from and against any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your User Content or generated content; (c) your violation of these Terms; (d) your violation of any rights of another party, including intellectual property rights; (e) your violation of any applicable laws; or (f) any claim that your content caused damage to a third party.

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to:

• +Breach of these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy
• +Conduct that we believe is harmful to other users, us, or third parties
• +Fraudulent, illegal, or abusive activity
• +Non-payment of subscription fees
• +Extended periods of inactivity (we will notify you before termination for inactivity)
• +Request from law enforcement or government agencies

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. You may export your content before termination via Account Settings. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

Voluntary Account Deletion: You may delete your account at any time from Account Settings. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone after the 30-day recovery period.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved as follows:

• +Informal Resolution: Contact us first at legal@aimworld.ai—many issues can be resolved informally within 30 days
• +Binding Arbitration: If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules
• +Class Action Waiver: You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration
• +Small Claims Exception: Either party may bring qualifying claims in small claims court
• +Injunctive Relief: Either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property infringement or unauthorized access

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will notify you via email or through a prominent notice on the Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and may request account deletion.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. For any matters not subject to arbitration, you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the federal and state courts located in Delaware. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you retain any mandatory consumer protections under your local law.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, and any other legal notices or policies published on the Service, constitute the entire agreement between you and AIM WORLD regarding your use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications, whether written or oral.
